Happy New Year! 🙂

Today is the first proper day back for me. I was in and out of the shop over Christmas but it wasn’t like I was really doing much work – replying to the odd email and facebook message, packing a few orders, etc. The shop was open between Christmas and New Year, during that odd time where you’re still recovering from Christmas and Boxing day and you’re not exactly sure what day it is, but as you’d expect it wasn’t exactly busy. It was however a fairly busy time for myself, with gigs on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, plus travelling to see family in between. All in all, it was a good week and it was nice to have a couple of days off with the family. I hope yours was good also!

What’s happening in January?

January tends to be a busy month also. Although you would have thought most would slowly be getting back in to the swing of things after Christmas, a lot of musicians are straight back to working on projects – Gigs are usually few and far between so now is a good time to crack on with fitting new guitar parts, electronics, whatever it is your guitar may need.

It’s also a great opportunity for me to look into new brands and product lines that I didn’t get a chance to sort out last year. FU-Tone (their PMS System and bridge pins especially) are on my radar and I’ll be expanding the Hipshot and ABM ranges of products this month also, so keep an eye out for those . I also have another large shipment of lemon oil coming in sometime at the end of this month/beginning of Feb. A top-up of some of the Babicz bass bridges is needed too! – That may have to be left until February.

There are some new products already on their way in; Snark headstock tuners and a selection of GraphTech Black XL nuts. I’m expecting those to be here by Friday and they should all go up on the website the same day.

Also, keep an eye out for a few deals going on during the month – Sperzel Tuners are already on sale!

And what about the rest of the year?

It’s all go and I have a lot of things planned for the year – check BTN Music’s YouTube Channel in the next week or so for a taste of what’s to come. More content, more guitar shows, more brands, more products! Here’s to this year – it’s going to be a good one!
